Sabel let go of her with a heavy sigh, watching her from the corners of his eyes. It took a bit of will to supress the words of aggitation that bubbled in the back of his throat, but he managed to keep them there, silent. "Your not a nutter. Stop putting words in people's mouths and stop projecting your self image onto other people's point of view. You have no idea what they are thinking. You need to worry about yourself, and your damaging thoughts you are eliciting upon your own person. Not about them."

He felt his fingers curl slightly at her last words about being alone. "Really Lexi, maybe it is hard for me to see that you are so 'alone' when I know you are not. Dylan wouldn't abandon you, he made a good point of that last year and by adopting you, and by Merlin's beard I haven't abandoned you. Or, is it Lexi, that you simply can't see that?"
