"I'm coming in!" announced Ian even though he had already opened the door. "And I have a very talkative woman with me. You have been warned."

And it was true. Jane was a good friend to Hunter, one she was comfortable being loud and boisterous around, and one she who didn't mind the occasional bouts of sulkiness and general moody malaise.
Daphne swiveled around in her chair towards the door. "Hello there! What brings you to our humble office?" she asked Ian, while looking at the woman coming in with him. "This place is wonderful, by the way!" she smiled, having a spin in the new chair.

She was mildly embarrassed that she didn't know everyone in the office yet. The woman coming in looked familiar, but Daphne couldn't place a name to that face. "I'm Daphne Jones," she said to the possibly talkative woman. "Editor of the Sports section."

"No I haven't, I thought it was better to have a base of operations set up first, then I'll hazard the coffee and take a peek in all the other offices." All of them. Every single room would soon have Jane poking her nose in and being curious about the contents and the people who inhabited the room.
The young editor stifled a yawn. "Coffee would sound good. I doubt the Daily Prophet upgraded that as well," she grimaced, imagining the pot of black sludge that was sometimes called coffee here. It made her gag just thinking about it.
