Andre was looking a bit happier now and more when he pulled out his pocket notebook, writing lyrics. "A song should do, right?"

"Tally you know NOTHING about women!" she stuck her tongue out at him and laughed.

And this time she was; Tallan was good looking, and Texas very pretty - so they both won. Blushing at the unxpected comment, Brookie pushed her fly away hair over her shoulder. "I'm not," she denied. And she wasn't, 'specially next to Texxy and the other girls. She began to spin on her swing again, in an attempt to avoid other compliments. She got sooo self-concious.

They must've looked stupid to onlookers, she couldn't help but think. Her and Tall, two seventeen year old kids spinning 'round on the swings. But she didn't care.

"I wasn't going to," she laughed, tugging at the ends of her pony tail. Hmm, of course she wouldn't get it spiky, it would be weird. Reaaallly weird. "Uh, thanks Tall," Brooke added, blushing again and continuing to spin. Yeah, she didn't like compliments at all.

Red crept into James' cheeks. Annie must think him terrible, for leaving his arm around Leigh's shoulders after dropping her hand. He looked at her apologeticly, and then nodded. "Sure you can," he said, making a mental note of the mint ice cream. He smiled softly at the two girls then went to turn around and make his way to the counter. Before he could leave, he felt a hand on his arm, and turned back to Leigh.

"I'm paying," he said, waving the muggle money away. James didn't know why, but even saying that to Leigh brought a blush to his cheeks, and he fought to keep it at bay until he had walked off to the counter.

"It is awsome," she agreed, admiring Texas' hair. Texas was so pretty, and lucky too. She could always have nice clothes, and hairstyles, but Brooke just couldn't. She looked stupid most of the time, and any nice style like Texxy's just didn't suit her. Mehh. "I'm not Texxy, don't lie," Brooke pleaded. She was never one of the prettiest people Texas knew. Not with every other girl in Hogwarts around them.

Brooke was still spinning when Andre joined them, and couldn't really catch what he started to quizz Tallan about. But she laughed at what Texas said, and guessed it was some girl problem or other.

A...song? That was original - Tallan had never thought of that. "Yeah, sure, do that!" Bahaha. Tal now had a feeling of accomplishment; he really felt like he had helped Andre think of that idea, even though he'd never thought of it himself.

"I bet you'd do a great job." he decided, nodding.

He sighed when Brooke started being all 'no I'm not pretty' and stuff. "Brooke." he said seriously, turning fully to look at her. "I don't lie about prettiness of girls. If I say you're pretty, you're pretty. End of story." Well, it was true! Tal didn't tell a girl she was pretty unless he meant it. So HA. He won.

"What are talking about, Tex?" he asked, acting shocked. "I do TOO know about girls!" At least he should, considering how many he'd dated... Ahem. Anyway. "And I give great advice, too. I'm gonna be a muggle Talk Show Host." So there.

Ughh. Why did that look James gave Annie bother Leigh so much? It shouldn't. But it did. Ughh again. Leigh glanced at Annie, then at James as he declined her money. For some weird reason, instead of arguing and pushing the money into James' mouth or something like she normally would, Leigh just put it back in her pocket wordlessly.

She watched James as he walked to the counter, and then she stood up and followed him. She had no clue what she was planning on doing, but she was going to do something. She walked right up behind him, not looking back at the table to see if anyone was watching her. "Hey, James?" she asked, stepping to his side. "I - er, can we talk? Outside? I mean, after you get the ice cream?" EEK! What did she - oh. Now she knew what she was going to talk about. And she'd do it, too! She could be brave, right? ... As long as James agreed to talk to her. Maybe he wouldn't, since he's so worried about spending more time with her than he spends with Annie. *eye roll*
