She patted him on the arm and wished that he wasn't so tall. It meant that she couldn't ruffle his hair unless he bent down. "You think he's alright now?" she added randomly asked. She couldn't help it. It was hard for her to leave him.
She rolled her eyes as he looked her over like that. "You're supposed to say that. It's your job." But she still smiled because she liked hearing it. He should do that more. "And what are you grinning at?" Because she had no idea really. |
