Now, come on up here and grab a crystal ball and stand and head back to your desks...PLEASE be very careful, I've taken many precautions to prevent them from breaking if they are dropped, but you can't ever be too safe!" he said.

He walked back around his desk, moved his example orb out of the way, and waved his wand, levitating a tray of crystal balls in various sizes and materials onto the desk.

"When you get back to your desk, take a note on the size of the orb you chose, and the type of crystal its made out of, such as quartz or calcite. Then wait for further instructions," he told them before motioning for them to come up and take an orb.

OOC: Feel free to choose which type of crystal and size your charrie gets. There's no set number of quartz orbs, or calcite, or whatever, so its up to you!

Fallon took notes as Professor Reynolds talked about crystal balls. This class was kind of boring, but was pretty simple when it came to homework. When they were instructed to go get a crystal ball, Fallon got up and went over to where they all were. She grabbed one of the first ones that she saw and went back to her seat.

Fallon then pulled out a fresh piece of parchment and took notes on the crystal ball that she chose.

"Scrying, as I said previous, may seem fairly easy to some of you. In just a moment, I'm going to dim the lights--no falling asleep!" he added, glancing at Evelyn who looked ready to pass out, "And we'll get started. I'll pass out some candles around once I do that, and you must place these lit candles BEHIND your crystal orb. This will be the only light in the room. Then you simply take a few breaths and relax, and focus on your crystal ball. Clear your mind if you're doing a general reading, or focus on one question or thought as you're looking. Don't be discouraged if you don't see something at first, it takes practice! Watch the time too--once you've been focusing for 20 minutes, STOP and take notes on what you saw and what you think it might be," he said.

After that, he waved his wand and the blinds closed in the room, and he began handing out the candles, placing them on the desks of each student. "If you don't have your list of symbols from last lesson, I have more copies on my desk. If you have any questions, please ask!" he added.

And with that, they were off!

"And for those of you who may have a particularly strong gift for scrying...do not be surprised if you actually see scenes or images of people you know in the crystal ball. Usually people only see a few shapes at first, but you may be lucky and see something else," he said with a wide grin.

Once she was done with that, Fallon listened to what Professor Reynolds had to say. She took a candle and placed behind her orb like she was instructed to do. Fallon then began to focus in on her crystal orb. How am I supposed to focus for 20 minutes?! Still, it had to be done.

A long 20 minutes later, Fallon could make out a few shapes in her crystal ball. She took out her quill and parchment and quickly went to write them done so that she wouldn't forget.

Text Cut: Fallon's parchment
Clock: warning against procrastination.
Comet: brink of pivotal change or dramatic event in your life.
Wavy Lines: uncertain path

Fallon looked at her symbols and their meanings. Well this is just great... The only thing she could think of was the thing between her and her two best friends.
