She was just about to return her lips to the boy's then, when he spoke again, stuttering that he thought she was thinking the same. But once her lips met the boy's, as had become usual, she found it difficult to pull away, and so instead of pulling back as she had originally planned, she continued kissing the boy instead, allowing the peck kiss to turn into a long, loving, but enthusiastic kiss.
