Are you all ready?

'Shopping...' Alicia thought happily as she headed towards the village. Ginny, Hermione and Emily surrounded her, laughing and joking.

"So? What are we getting?" Hermione asked as Hogsmeade came into view.

"Dresses..." Emily laughed, directing herself tothe dress store, Winston's.

"Not funny... Alicia? Can you see them?" Ginny said, playing with the zip on her jacket. It had got extremely cold overnight.

"In your future, I can see-" Alicia started, putting her fingertips on her temples and the corner of her mouth twitching as she looked over at Emily. Hermione and Ginny burst out laughing. "A one armed... Floor length... Silvery sort of colour... It's hard to explain, I'll shout when I see it" Alicia said, dropping her hands. Emily laughed as Hermione pushed the door open.

The bell above the door called the owner out from the back.

"Ah! Miss Alicia! Are you here for a dress for the ball?" The man said, hurrying forwards to where Alicia stood. She nodded and looked at the others behind her.

"Winston, this is Ginny, Hermione and Emily- my best friends" The little man bowed slightly as Alicia pointed out each girl.

"Nice to meet you, friends of Miss Alicia... We had new dresses in yesterday" He added, looking round at Alicia.

"I know, I saw it... That's why we're here, Winston. We want to see them" Alicia said, a smile on her face. "It's all you, now"

"Thank you, Miss Alicia... Misses are very pretty... Three lucky dates somewhere... Miss Emily first, please"

"Just stand there and listen to what he says... Winston is the best dress maker I know" Alicia said, pushing Emily towards the racks.

"Red hair... Naturally curly?" He said, circling her. Emily nodded. "Not too tall... Not too short... I have the perfect dress!" And the man skipped off out the back.

"Don't worry... He's always like that... Just leave him to it" Alicia said as Ginny stared at the door. He returned a few minutes later, carrying a bag of a hanger.

"This will be perfect for you, Miss Emily... Do you like it?" He let the bag fall to the floor and Emily gasped.

(Emily's Dress)

"That's the one I can see now... You just changed the future, Winston" Alicia laughed and the man smiled broadly, placing the dress carefully into a bag.

"Miss Ginny next, please" Ginny skipped forwards and the man begun his circling. "Yes... I know the dress..." He said, stepping out the back again as Emily wanded towards the shoes. He returned and revealed the dress, getting the same reaction from Ginny.

"It's plain and simple... Just what I wanted!" She said, clapping her hands together as he bagged it for her.

(Ginny's Dress)

"Glad to help... Miss Hermione?" Hermione edged forwards. "What are you planning with your hair?"

"I don't know yet" She answered timidly and Winston frowned.

"I have a dress that would look lovely on you but your hair needs to pulled up" Hermione nodded and he went to find it.

"It's beautiful!" She said, looking at the dress with a smile on her face. Winston placed it in a bag and Hermione joined Emily and Ginny at the shoes.

(Hermione's Dress)

"Right... That leaves me, Winston" Alicia grinned as he walked forwards. "I'm think on having my hair red and pulled up into a bun"

"Perfect... One minute, Miss Alicia" He said, skipping off again.

"Guys... Look at this" The other three walked over to where Alicia stood, looking out the window. Draco Malfoy was having an argument with Pansy Parkinson.

"Looks like trouble in Paradise... But as fascinating as this is, I have shoes to find" Ginny said as Pansy walked away. Emily and Alicia swapped looks as Ginny and Hermione returned to the shoes.

"What was it about?" Emily asked as Draco vanished into the crowd. Neither of them noticed Winston return.

"Pansy thinks that I kissed him..." Alicia answered, shaking her head. She turned her back on the window. "Oh, sorry Winston! Let's see it, then!"

"Right or wrong?" He asked as Alicia stared at it.

"More than right... It's perfect!" He grinned and bagged it for her.

(Alicia's Dress)

"Shoes... Miss Ginny will look very nice in the glitter flats... Miss Hermione in the ballerina heels... Miss Emily in the silver flats and Miss Alicia with the-"

"Red heels... I don't want to match..." Alicia said and Winston smiled, nodding as he packed the four shoeboxes.

Hermione pulled out her purse and Winston shook his head.

"Miss Alicia and her friends do not pay here- just tell people where you got the items" He said as Alicia handed the bags out to their owners.

"Here you go! Get yourself a drink at the Three Broomsticks" Alicia said, dropping a few gold coins onto the counter.

Two hours later, the four girls were sitting in the warm common room.

"So how much did your dresses cost?" Fred asked as he, George, Jamie, Harry and Ron sat round them.

"Five galleons, apparently" Hermione said, rolling her eyes. Jamie turned to Alicia, a smile on his face.

"You went to see Winston?" She nodded and he laughed.

"Five galleons, each?" Fred asked and Emily shook her head.

"Five galleons for four dresses and four pairs of shoes" She said and the twins laughed.
