"Sorry I am late, lots track of time whilst i was sketching!" He tapped the diary he had in his hand, but before showing his ideas, he spied a girl, that had been vocal in Classroom Eleven, but whom he had never met before. Juggling to re-arrange his things, he extended his hand,
"Nice to meet you, Patroclus Hudson!"
Seeing the notebook Evelyn had, Patroclus smiled, there were definitely on the same brain wave.

"Here are so sketches i dreamt up whilst thinking on the seasons!" Opening his book, he explained his first one, "Ok, Spring! when i think spring I think fields, new life, Woods! so this is what i came up with, the idea that the Great Hall is a clearing in the centre of a forest, Trees so tall they reach into the sky." Flipping his notebook open from them to see, Patroclus' page showed his idea.

"Next we have Fall! One word, Leaves! I say we make the the walls look like a wind storm of falls leaves, rich browns, flame reds and burning yellows." Turning the page he showed his Fall sketch.

"Winter, I say Ice, and lots of It! We should transport the Ball to the frozen icelands of the Arctic! The floors, sheets of ice, the walls great looming glaciers and the sky...snowing of course!" Turning the page his next image was on display!

"I didn't get to summer, but i see we already have some Ideas!"

And what were they supposed to do when they were done with one season and wanted to go on to decorating the next season? "Profess-"

However, she wasn't able to ask her question when a voice interrupted her. Looking behind her to see who it was, a small smirk appeared on her lips as she saw who it was. "Well well...look who finally arrived." she snickered before sitting down on one of the seats. At least one other person arrive in their group. Three was good enough right?

And he had ideas!! Good ones at that too. Looking at each of the sketches he had created, trying not to be envious of his obvious artist skills (since she was pretty good herself too), the smirk slowly turned down to a smile as the ideas would go well with their own they made up. "I like the one you made up for Spring." she said with a nod before grabbing her notebook. "We had decided before you came on some garden theme or something for it, but I do like your idea better. We can have it a bit sunny in the clearing, with some flowers around. And we had decided on a few animals to look as if they're there too, like bunnies and deer..." The two of them would fit perfectly together, right? Evelyn thought so. "Perhaps make it a little more enchanting looking as well." Sparkly air! That was the only way she could describe it.

Turning he page back to Fall, Evelyn stared at it for a moment before including comments of her own. "I never really thought of using a wind storm for Fall. I usually pictured it as a gentle breeze, making the leaves fall off a little at a time....but how 'bout this? We can switch from the wind storm to a gentle wind every now and then. It would make it a little more realistic too." Not having any thoughts on the colors of the leaves since they already agreed on the fact that the leaves would be brown, red, and yellow, Evelyn turned the page back to the Winter section and smiled a little more, before turning back to the Fall page. "And we had thought that pumpkins placed around here and there as well would be a good idea. Since Halloween is in fact during the Fall season, pumpkins would remind you of that right? Plus since...pumpkin pie...Thanksgiving..." Yea, he would get the idea.

"Of course we'll be having ice for winter and snow from the ceiling." she chuckled quietly before putting her full attention on the page. "Ellie wants a few things like snowman and igloos and such in the Winter theme too. We could make the icelands, but we can also have a few fun things around here and there as well."

Flipping the pages back to the Spring picture, Evelyn glanced up at Patroclus before looking at her own notebook. "We don't have much for the Summer season really. We figured we have a pretty sunny view of the lake on the walls, and on the ceiling, have the sun shining. Not too brightly of course. Don't want the guests and people to be blinded." Taking a deep breathe and letting it out slowly, Evelyn shrugged her shoulders before looking back to Patroclus. "So, thoughts on everything?"

"They are some great ideas! With Fall, we could make the wind slowly pick up, from gentle to strong, and use that as a transition into Winter, and with winter I think we should have Icebergs popping up all over the place, that would be fun!" He like the snowmen idea, but thought they would be better as real life things, not wall decorations, He smiled thinking of a snowman serving drinks.

Summer. It was turning out to be a hard one, "Well what about with summer we do a dessert, The sun baking over head, and then slowly an oasis appears, and we could ask to have a charm that blows a cooling breezing over the room! Another idea for summer could just be a huge field, with sun and blue sky, green meadows for as far as the eye can see!"

A thought popped into Patroclus' head, "Are we going to only have the four seasons once in throughout the night, or will we experience them more than once? and in what order? Cause that will help us plan transitions!" He was a ball of questions, bouncing with excitement!

However, at the mention of summer, Evelyn looked back over to the Gryffindor for a moment before nodding slowly. "That's a good idea too. But, when you mean 'The sun baking overhead', you don't really mean, the sun is going to bake everyone right? We don't want everyone sweating in their outfits." Heck, SHE didn't want to be sweating in her outfit. "But, it's just illusion that the sun is actually there..." Hopefully that's what he meant. "I think all that could work though. The oasis would be 'lake' enough and they're usually prettier too." Hehe.

"Buuuut, I do like the field idea a little better. That's what I would think of when someone mentions the word Summer anyhow." The desert idea was good, but the field idea was better. "But the cool breeze should be perfect. Not too strong though and not too cold." Had to be juuust right.

And he had a good question. "I don't know. Probably once. The Ball would only last for so long. Six hours tops in my opinion. So that really leaves pretty much one rotation of the seasons. We don't want them to go by too quickly and people miss the experience and purpose of the seasons." Smiling slightly, she picked up her pencil and glanced at Ellie for a moment before looking back at Patroclus. "What order do you think they should go it?"

Bahaha!

And another Gryffie has arrriiiived!

"Static trees?" she repeated, looking at the new girl in the group. So, there would be a few trees staying in place and changing as the seasons change. "That's a good idea too. I think we could put that in here." Evelyn nodded before picking up her notebook and writing everything she remembered down.

"We are still deciding I think on what to do. I'll give you the list once I finish it."
she said, continuing to write in her notebook and barely looking up at the girl. What was her name again?
Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah..... Since when did these people come in? Just shoot out your own ideas. It's okay? Don't consult Ellie... who's been here...

"I'm Ellie," she said, hiding her acute annoyance.

"So... first..." she tried to organize what everyone just said in her head, "I like the trees.. But not too many of them.. staying, and changing," she started, looking at the girl who mentioned it. "And.. I don't know about the oasis.. Like, I like the idea, but I don't necessarily think of 'oasis' when I think 'summer'. And we want people to recognize that the seasons are changing, and most importantly, recognize what season it changed into." Look back at Evelyn and Patroclus..

She paused to take a breath, and sort out more of what had been spat out, "I like the windstorm idea, too.. And having it change into winter.." Yeah... "No, I don't think the sun should produce heat at all.. It would cause all sorts of problems with sweat, odor," her nose crinkled, "hair getting messed up, people passing out." SO not good.

Then, finally, Evelyn asked for her thoughts. Thank you very much Evelyn, turns out I do have something to say about that. What, though, she wasn't sure... "Well... If we keep the Entrance Hall a neutral season.. Maybe we can just have representations of seasons throughout, so guests know what to be expecting... And we can start with winter, then go to spring, summer, and fall. Like the way a calendar is.." Pause for more pondering, "Or.. since everyone's most excited about summer being on the way, and it will be almost there.. When is it, June?.. So we could end with that, and get everyone all psyched for summer." That sounded best, actually, "And maybe we could have 'fun in the sun' type of things for summer, such as hovering beach balls, and shells around the walls.." She liked the beach theme better. Definitely. Now, who had opinions on that? Huh?
