She did have a bit of pent up energy and it wasn't like she had been about to make it to the kitchen to bake in some time.

Placing her feet slightly apart, she readied herself for Patroclus' return. Seeing the ball coming towards her, she pulled her arm back and swung her arm forward. The ball bounced once and she made contact with it, sending it back over the net at a slight angle.
