TJ climbed back into the cart, trying to not dwell on it. Someday. Someday he would meet a social goblin. It would happen, yes indeed.
"Up, up and away," he murmured, getting a grip on the cart before it could take off.
The vault made grinding noises as it resealed itself, even as the cart lurched and moved away. Sturnik did not make any effort at all to push conversation in the time, a little over an hour and a half, that it took to reach the surface again. Grunting he let the man out of the cart and led him up the corridor to the
main hall, where he returned the Wizard's key and left him to his own devices.
He offered a glare as a parting shot.
