“Professor, can we see your patronus, please?!” a young Hannah Abbott begged him in class. He grinned and looked at the girls seated in the front—the boys, for some reason, had taken to sitting in the back.
“Do you really want to see?” he asked them.
“Yes!” Susan Bones chimed in.
“Alright,” he said with a smile, pulling out his wand and waving it. Out of his wand shot a silvery dove, which flew around the heads of the girls who all giggled in delight.
Little did they know it had taken him five years to master that spell.
