Hehe, bickering's fun

Awe man! Abi, you caught me! Here's the next post!
An owl caught Emily’s eye. It was soaring down from the sky and into the girls’ dormitory. The owl landed on Alicia’s bed. Emily stared at it with wonderment. It was Drakkon, but what would he want with Alicia?
“It has my name on it,” Alicia said, waking Emily from her reverie. The dormitory was empty except for the two. Everyone else was down in the Common Room. Emily stared at Alicia as she opened the letter. Drakkon had flown off after she detached the letter. Alicia read it aloud.
Alicia,
Hi, love; meet me on North Tower at midnight.
Now and Forever,
You Know Who
Alicia looked up with a smile on her face. Emily didn’t know what to think.
Maybe Jamie couldn’t find any other owl and borrowed Draco’s, Emily thought. Emily gave Alicia a small smile.
“It’s eleven-thirty,” Alicia said, looking at her alarm clock.
“I have to get ready!” she said happily. Emily let her soak in her happiness as she sulked. Emily had received many letters from that very owl.
*~*
Alicia sneaked out at 11:55 PM. She found herself on the North Tower before Jamie. Alicia leaned over the balcony as her hair swayed in the breeze. She heard footsteps behind her, but didn’t move. Arms wrapped around her waist and she closed her eyes. She twisted in his arms, eyes still closed, and kissed him passionately. But this kiss felt wrong against these lips. They were far too silky, and his breath was far too sweet. Alicia panicked. The boy she was kissing was not her Jamie.
Alicia pushed her arms against the mystery man’s chest feebly. He finally broke lose, a malicious grin on his pale face.
“Dr-Draco M-Malfoy?” Alicia stuttered.
Draco laughed quietly.
“Yes, love,” he whispered.
“It—it was you?” she asked, shocked.
Draco didn’t answer. He didn’t even give her time to get angry or upset. He gave her a quick smirk and then left.
Alicia stayed rooted to the spot, in complete shock. Ten or fifteen minutes later, Alicia wasn’t quite sure, she heard more footsteps. Jamie and Emily rounded the corner and ran to Alicia.
“Alicia, are you okay? What happened?” Emily asked seriously.
Through choked whispers, Alicia told Emily and Jamie what happened. Jamie was furious, and Emily was between a mixture of fury and pain. Emily and Jamie explained how they found each other in the Common Room and how he had not sent the letter. Emily figured out the rest, and they came after Alicia. And then the accusations started.
“How would he know about Now and Forever, Alicia?” Jamie accused.
Emily looked up, feeling as if she was about to be sick. She raised her hand slightly and Jamie and Alicia just stared at her. Alicia shook her head a fraction.
“That would be my fault, Jamie,” Emily whispered shakily.
“What? How would that be your fault?” Jamie asked, narrowing his eyes.
“Because, Jamie—” Emily started. Alicia stared at her in horror. But Emily knew it was time to tell the truth.
“Because, Jamie, I dated Draco Malfoy, and I fell in love with him, and we had a conversation about it once.” Emily couldn’t reach his eyes. The cool air swayed around her, causing her hair to twist in her face. She neatly tucked it behind her ears.
“You—you dated—Draco Malfoy?” he asked slowly. Emily nodded, her eyes on the floor.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, Jamie, I just—” Emily began.
“—was ashamed, no doubt,” Jamie finished.
Emily looked up, anger rising in her.
“I wasn’t ashamed, Jamie Starlight! We didn’t tell anybody because of this reaction! People are so prejudice and cruel and that’s what caused us to break up! Because we knew that if we came out into the open, things would go horribly wrong!” Emily yelled at him. Alicia sat down beside her on the cold concrete steps, trying to console her.
“Well look at what he’s done, Emily! He tricked Alicia! He kissed Alicia!”
“I’m not deaf, Jamie, I heard the story,” Emily said sarcastically.
“How exactly did you tell him about Now and Forever?” Alicia asked quietly.
“Does it even matter?” Jamie asked angrily.
“I was just curious, Jamie! I never got to hear that story!” Alicia said defensively.
“What do you mean by ‘that story’?” Jamie asked, red in the face.
“Well, let’s see, it was our seventh date,” Emily started saying, interrupting Jamie and Alicia.
“We were lying in an empty classroom, in each other’s arms,” she said in a daze as she remembered another time completely.
“We were talking, just talking...” “How long do you think we’ll last, Ems?” Draco asked quietly.
“Well, we could be like Alicia and Jamie and last Now and Forever,” Emily replied with a giggle. “I don’t know, how long do you think we’ll last?” Draco said nothing. “How long do you want us to last?”
“Forever,” Draco breathed into her neck. Emily giggled again.
“Forever it is,” Emily said, twisting in Draco’s arms. “Forever and Always,” she whispered as she dipped down and kissed his silky lips.
Emily looked up from her daze. A tear escaped her eyelid as she remembered Draco and the way he made her feel.
“Emily, that story...was just so...sweet,” Alicia finally said.
“Or sickening,” mumbled Jamie.
“Right, well, don’t worry about it, Jamie, Alicia, I’ll talk to him. I think I know why he’s targeting you, Alicia—he wants to make me jealous or something,” Emily sighed.
TAG, ABI!
