Xylon was silent. Only a broken wrist? He was going to break his wrists one of these days, and tell her she needn't worry. That it was only a broken wrist. Could she take that calmly? Maybe she would. He did not disagree that she could take care of herself. For sure she could. But the point remained. No matter what she had to say in her own defense, it hurt him to know that she wasn't letting anyone tend to an injury.

Quiet, he turned into the next step, continuing to lead the dance which he still could not focus on.
