SORRY!

Alicia watched, gob- smacked, as Emily ran out the Hall. Jamie walked down the table and sat in the empty seat.

“Going to tell me?” He said as Alicia stared at the double doors.

“She shouted at me for having a go at Parkinson…” She said quietly. Jamie put his hand on her shoulder.

“I told you not to get involved... Is that why your hair's black?” He said and Alicia glared at him.

“I don’t want to hear anything to do with her if she wants to shout at me for trying to help… She can sort her own problems out from now on!” Alicia said harshly and Jamie looked at the table.
“Ali, that’s going a bit too far, don’t you think? You two are best friends-” He said as she shook her head.

“We were best friends… And I’m not going too far”
“Yes you are… You miss her already- I can see it on your face. You two share everything-” He glanced at her and stopped.

“FINE! IF YOU WANT TO STICK UP FOR HER, FINE!” People turned to look as Alicia stood up and glared at Jamie. She ran from the room and Jamie followed.

“Alicia! ALICIA!” He shouted and she stopped, turning round as her hair turned light blue. “I’m not sticking up for her- I’m not on anyone’s side!” He said quickly, taking her hand.

“It’s sounded like it…” She said, hugging him tightly.

“Well I’m not… Just remember that I love you, now and forever…” Jamie said, kissing the top of her head.

“I’m sorry…” She whispered and he laughed.

“Now we’ve sorted that out, do you want to see what your parents said? America’s staring at you” She looked up to where Jamie was pointing and sure enough, her snowy owl was looking straight at her through the window. She skipped forwards, opened the glass between them and took the scroll off the owl.
