"Ok, bye Lexi!" Nolan said, smiling and waving goodbye as his colleague left the staircase. He continued to stand there for a few minutes, trying to remember where he was going before she had distracted him. HMMMM. Where HAD he been headed?

He never got the chance to remember, because as he was trying to think of where he had been about to go, he felt something collide with him. Blinking, he turned around and looked to see what had happened, only to find a student behind him, holding onto the banister for dear life.

"Oh, it's quite alright. It's what I get for just...standing on the staircase, staring into space," he said with a small chuckle.
