You might also like to pick up a copy of Augustine's 'The Lore and Lure of Wandlore'. It's out of print now, but I believe Flourish and Blotts still carries it. It has some very, very boring information about the history of wandlore, but it also contains worthy bits about some of the things old wand masters used to have their apprentices do to help them learn the craft as well as the basic things people are often curious about when they come to wandmaking."
