"I would like each of you to choose five spells from this list. They should be spells you either do not know or have not yet mastered completely. If there is anyone who considers themselves to know all of these spells," Truebridge might have sent a brief glance at the Head Girl. It wouldn't surprise him. She was very much the little overachiever.
"Then you'll need to choose five of them to work on non-verbally. Over the remainder of the term, you'll practice them and demonstrate the application of them in a duel. If there is anything not on this list that you'd like to choose, you may but I'd like for you to clear it with me first. Choose your five now and then I'll show you something new to work on as well. Then you can all go to dinner." Truebridge told them. "Take a copy of the list, look over it and make your choices."
Jake only frowned slightly.
"I wwwasn't tttalking about school duels. You jjjjust said 'formal'," he pointed out, not liking the fact that he was WRONG.
Bleh.
As he took the list from Cela, Jake glanced at it, but was too distracted to sit and read. He'd just go from memory and imagination. Raising his hand, he waited for his turn before sayiiiiing...
"Sssir, I wanna tttry obscuro and... mmmuffliato. And..." The boy thought again, a pained expression on his face as he tried to think.
"Expppelliarmus, ppprotego aaaaand... Duro."
Heck yes. The last one might be a little too hard for him... well, all of them would... but he could dooooo eeeeet.
Everyone else was doing really complicated stuff... eh. Now he felt dumb.
