Trixie walked into the animal nursery, after recieving her assignment to a baby creature. Well technically here's wasn't a baby as it grows to a full grown adult pretty quickly seeing as Phoenix's are immortal. But as she approached the beautiful majestic bird she couldn't help but have a smile on her face. At the moment, it was the size of a pigeon, after having only just risen from the ashes. It's didn't have it's full plumage and so instead the small bird sat there, in dull browns, the feathers soft and the creature fairly weak and new to the world

The bird was sat wearily perched on a stick, unsure of whether it could balance quite yet. Trixie felt privileged as Phoenix's were notoriously known to be hard to domesticate. But Trixie was going to give it a good go. She knew not to touch the not quite yet golden feathers on the majestic bird tail as they were hot to the touch, but instead she stroked it's back, making sure to not go near her beak just yet. But the Phoenix stayed calm. "Hello Topaz" she spoke softly to the gorgeous creature before feeding it with organic food as Trixie knew the creature to be a herbivore.
