Chapter 7:Evil...I like it

JESS'S POV

Our relationship was a secret. We would meet secretly at our tree,in which he so cheesily carved our names into. He still had too walk around with Pansy,but he refused to kiss her. but, of course her being the moronic idiot she is,didn't seem to notice.Was it such a shock too say I was happy?Yes,it definitely was. It was just very unnatural for a girl like me,too be smiling wherever she went. He noticed a change in me too. He was proud he was the reason I was so happy,but sadly things like that can change in a heartbeat.

I was walking down,to what we named 'Our Tree',my bag hitting my leg every step I took. That was when I noticed something different about Our Tree. It wasn't correct someone else had been there. I walked up to it,examining it carefully. I found where are name was carved,and saw that someone drew a jagged X on it. I put my hand too my mouth,in shock at what I next saw. Above it in this perfect script handwriting wrote:
Not for long.I will laugh as I see you in pain. You will never be with Draco Malfoy. You will die.

I re-read it scared out of my wits. Our Tree was very close to the Forbidden Forrest. Could it have been someone in there?Was it Pansy?All I knew was that someone was out to get me,and it was all because I was Draco's girlfriend. At least the secret one. I ran away from the god forsaken place. It scared me now. Word was out by now,that we were dating,I knew that for sure.

I found Draco in a hallway,and ran and hugged him. Letting my uncontrollable tears flow. I couldn't say a word. But he seemed alarmed. He started asking questions,he knew I couldn't answer right now.

DRACO'S POV

I found a spot in the corridor against the wall,and let her continue to cry into me. Whatever happened this time,completely set her off. I ran my fingers through her hair,as a sort of comforting gesture. I knew she was getting better,once I noticed the sobs slowing. There were by now,many staring in the audience,because apparently we were a TV show. "Oi! Get moving!"he hissed at them. Most leaving,others pretending they were looking for something,or needed to walk that way.

He sighed,and wiped her tears. "What happened?"he asked gently. She held her tears in as she wrote in her notebook. Someone is out to get me. He was utterly confused by now,and was getting angry,he would rip their faces off. "Why?"he asked as if he had no clue,which he didn't. Because we're dating.She wrote,and hesitantly gave it too him. When he saw it,his eyes widened,and as she looked at him,he grew sad. He kissed her the audience letting out 'Ooooos' and 'Ahhhs'. There were many angry faces around him.

"No one, and I mean no one can lay a hand on you,as long as I am around."he said,hugging her tightly.

JESS'S POV

I hugged him back,a few tears still rolling down my cheeks. She would have to be brave and stick it out. She wouldn't drop Draco,just because she could possibly die. No,she wouldn't do that. She would fight it with him at her side. She just hoped that Draco would stick it out as well.

She finally got up,Draco grabbed her hand. He squeezed it reassuringly,and every time he did,she was just happy to know he was still there. Together,they walked into the great hall,death glares surrounding them. They were schools most hated couple. She stole a look at Pansy,and she looked ready too explode. She couldn't help but smirk at Pansy's anger. She heard Draco laughing. She sat down,and grabbed her notebook again. Whats so funny?i just made myself look like a total wimp out there crying,so how can this situation be funny?!?She said almost laughing,because his laugh could just make her laugh.

"Your smirk at Pansy.."he trailed off,"feeding off of people's anger and misery,aren't you the kindest?"he said his smile growing. She sighed,and whacked him on the side of his head. But still she smirked. She only wrote, I have a right too. She grinned at him,as he took the book. He looked at her,"Evil....I like it."he commented.
