Brody slammed the cauldron down on the desk while glaring at Torin. Yes, she was mad. Very mad.

“Brody, how many times do I have to say I’m sorry?”

“I don’t know, Torin!” She started chopping up the ingredients and adding them to the cauldron as the instructions stated.

“Brody, I didn’t do anything that bad.” He wasn’t sure why she was so angry at him. He hadn’t really done anything terrible.

“You made fun of my baking.”

“I’m sorry, baby. But you blowing up the oven was funny. Forgive me?

“Always.” Darn her stupid boyfriend.

“Good. I love you.”
