Chapter 5:Tonight was...Fun.

I walked to the common room,Draco accidently stepping on the back of my heels about 1 too 1 hundred times. I swear I wanted to slap him. When we got there,everyone else was already there,and there was only one couch left,fit to fit two people. I sat down,practically on top of Draco we were so squished. He didn't look so comfortable either.

"Okay so You all will be patrolling with whom you are living with."I looked at Draco and sighed,Fantastic. The meeting ended,well wasn't that important,I thought,annoyed to say the least.

-Patrolling-

I walked next to draco,in a comfortable silence,until he decided to break it. He looked at me,with a sort of sad expression,that I couldn't read all too well,"I wanted to apologize.."he trailed off,and I looked at him expectantly. "For what I said to you in the carraige, it wasn't exactly kind.."he said.

I pulled out a notebook,and began to write as I walked. And I'm supposed to believe this apology is sincere?I wrote down in my perfect script. He looked at me sort of sad,again,so predictable,"I suppose i deserve that."he said it barley audible,"what i mean to say,is that it's not your fault your mute,and it was incredibly insensitive of me to say it mattered."he finished.

I gave him a small sort of small,and wrote again, Apology accepted. This time he really smiled,and I got a funny feeling in me,but ignored it. We talked,or rather he talked and i wrote about all things ranging from our favorite colors,to quidditch, to the living situation. And I couldn't help but to admit,Draco Malfoy the boy I've been known to hate with all my heart,is incredibly sweet and charming.

When patrol was ending and we headed back to the common room,he looked at me. "Tonight was...fun."he decided on the right word. I grinned and wrote back,Yup,it's getting late.He laughed and nodded,it was time we both headed in for the night. Then he did something totally unexpected. He kissed me,not on the mouth,or the cheek,but on my forehead. And i couldn't hide my blush,he after he noticed it had a triumphant grin on.

He whispered too me,"good night."and I walked away completly forgetting my notebook. When i closed my bedroom door,I slid down the door,and onto my butt,my knees scrunched up too my face. i bit my lip,what just happened?

DRACO"S POV

I noticed she left her notebook,and found the page she had written on. I noticed the way her E's and L's looked exactly alike. And how when she dotted her I's the dot was barley noticible. I silently ripped the page out of the notebook,and folded it up,and put it in my pocket. When i got to my room,I placed the paper in my bedside draw. And I didn't know,that i would carry around that page for a long long time.

JESS"S POV

When I got in my bed,I had a wonderful night sleep. The spot on my forehead still tingling as i dreamt.
