Remember the last time I tried to?" That had been pathetic. It didn't even look like a smirk. Ah well, at least she had tried. "Speaking of Dylan, I wonder how he is."

What on earth had possessed her to say that? She smiled, a tiiiny sad smile, and fell quiet, all of a sudden.
