"If its for homework... I suppose I can managed... a wedge." It wasn't the cupcake, it was the roundness.
Gingerly he took the cupcake, placed it on his desk and used his wand to cut it into wedges, much like one would with a full sized cake.
Aware that Cadence was waiting... he picked a piece up and ate it, trying to avoid looking at the rounded edge.
"..."
Actually it was rather... what was the word? Nom.
He swallowed. "Thank you, Cadence."
Cadence smiled as Professor Truebridge took the cupcake, but then she just gave him a confused expression. A wedge? Well... I guess as long as he ate it, right? Watching the professor's odd smile, she stood there waiting to see if he was going to eat it now or if he was going to wait. Apparently, it was a now. As he ate the cupcake, she stood there beaming at him.
"You're welcome, Professor!" even though it had obviously taken him a lot of effort to force himself to eat said cupcake.
