He thought he had been brave enough to knock on Professor Carlton's door, but he totally chickened out when it actually came time to knock on her door.

He was standing before the Arthimancy's professor door with a tray of cupcakes. He wanted to take them to Professor Carlton, but he just couldn't seem to form human speech when he was around her. Something about her hair looking like the honey on top of a walnut muffin made him forget his name.

He shifted the tray of cupcakes to his other hand so he could knock on the door. Maybe the cupcakes would help with his grade in the class.
