Sage gave a nod. "That would be the most effective way, yes.. Sidney." He agreed, glancing down at the label she'd made to help him out name-wise. "Depending on the thickness of your socks though, you could get away with putting it in your shoe and wearing socks over it." Which was what HE did.

Maybe the professor was just fooling them?

That was unlikely though, because the stuff he was saying sounded really true. And kinda interesting. Iris wouldn't admit that though.

She listened as he said that you mushed them up and then put them in your shoes. EWW! No thanks. It would ruin the shoes. Unless they held magical properties to avoid grass stains on the inside of your shoes. As the professor gave them the instructions, Iris got out of her seat and went to fetch a mortar and pestle, collecting a handful of leaves on her way back.

Iris put her mortar on the workbench, and dropped the leaves into it, like how the professor did. Then she picked up the pestle and started mushing the leaves with it. She crushed and grinded the leaves until they were all mushy and just mush and looked up at the professor. "Professor, what do we do with the Mugwort when its all mushy? ... Because I don't have any need for it. My feet are perfectly fine." She said plainly. Maybe they'd be able to put the mushy leaves into a phial or something, to save them for when they would be needed.

The professor continued to observe, watching as the students busied themselves mushing up the Mugwort leaves. "If you don't have any need for it now, you're welcome to hold onto it until you do. Though you'd have to use it within at least three days to notice the effects. If you don't want it, you can just leave them behind and I'll put them to use." Oh, yes he would!
