She opened the door of her office and called to her Senior Undersecretary, "Allie, could you please find Claudian and then both come to see me? I have some things I'd like to discuss with you both." Allie had just finished introducing herself to the new Magical Education department head when the door to the Minister's office opened and Reagan appeared. Oh, hmm...apparently there was something both and she and Claudian were needed for, but come to think of it, Allie hadn't seen Claudian around in a day or so. Maybe he was on leave or something?
"I'm pretty sure Claudian's on leave, Minister Taylor, but I'm here---can I do something for you?" she asked. She turned and sort of gave the man she'd been talking with an apologetic look. She'd barely been able to say more than a sentence to him. He was probably only here to talk to the Minister anyway. Usually, no one ever came just to talk to Allie.
