It's simple and gets you pretty quickly where you need to go." Ah Quidditch, he could spend hours, maybe even days talking about the sport, and he did, but this wasn't really the time. "Zonko's is pretty awesome, they have a wide variety of things you can use as pranks!" Rafe laughed, he certainly bought a few himself to use. "There's Dungbombs, Hiccough Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, Sugar Quills and Nose-Biting Teacups..." Rafe sighed, "It's really a pranksters dream! And a sweet tooth's I might add."
Rafe listened about her talking about making friends. "Well, it's all about making the first step," Rafe smiled. "I mean, I'm not one to talk to people I don't know, but you just have to find common ground or something to talk about to break the ice. Like lil Bloo here," Rafe said as he scratched the little guy behind the ears. "Quality is definitely a good way of putting it. It's good to surround yourself with people you really like." Rafe was stating the obvious, but he'd seen people at this school that seemed to socialize in groups to just seem "cool."
Cole watched as Rafe became all enthused about quidditch. It was kind of funny to her. "Well, im sorry. I just happen to be deathly afraid of them. That's all." she said with a shrug. "It's not something that comes naturally to me. Well actually, it doesn't come to me at all." she sighed. "I enjoy watching it. Not playing it. I fell of the broom when i was younger and i've been afraid to touch one ever since." she told him. "Oh, right. well i don't think i'd be very good at apparating either. So, i'll just stick to the floo network and walking." Colette told him.
"That sounds awesome! I've always wanted to try some of those out. Especially the sugar quils." she grinned. "I'm so excited. I never really thought that I'd actually get to go there this year. I can't wait." she replied happily. "What other shops are down there? I know there's the Three Broomsticks. But what's the name of that candy store? I can't remember." she started to jog her brain for the answer, but nothing came.
"Yeah, common ground is always a good way to start. Well, at least it's the easiest place to start." She nodded. "If you don't have something to start with, the conversation probably won't get very far. But i think one of the easiest ways to start is by telling someone your name because they usually tell you theirs. But after that, it's usually hard to keep it going if there's nothing to really talk about." she replied. "I agree completely. As long as you have good genuine friends, nothing else really matters."
