Chapter 3: This Living Arrangement...Sucks.
The Head boy and girl stopped all the prefects in the hallway. They told us of our living arrangements. All prefects would be living in The Room of Requirement. It would have one giant common room,that would lead off to smaller ones,with stairs up too 3 rooms, a bathroom,and two bedrooms. We would each be sharign with someone else from our house.
Guess who I was stuck with?Malfoy. I glared at him, as they said,"Kinns and Malfoy."they told us our specific password. I nodded,and headed off toward the common room,passing fellow Gryffindors along the way. When I walked in,I noticed,the place was amazing. It looked just like the Gryffindor Common Room. They had gone with red for the Giant Common Room,Blue and Yellow for the hallways,and Green for the small common rooms. Malfoy trailed behind me.
I sighed in annoyance,as he stomped hsi feet as if he were some big shot. I turned the door knob,and walked in. I glanced around the room,Green ,ew,but not to shabby. I went up the steps,ignoring a hesitant good night from Malfoy. I dropped my bags on my bed,my room,was red. It had a queen sized bed,and was super comfy. I jumped up and down like a little kid on Christmas.
I eventually realized that after a logn day liek today i could use a shower or a bath. I grabbed a towel that always stayed dry,and headed into the bathroom. The bathroom looked the a fun house,it had all the houses colors. I grinned,and settled down into a bubbling bath. I let all sounds drown out and just relaxed. When I stepped out of the bath my towel around me,I opened the door,and Malfoy was standing right there,about to open the door.
I blushed a deep red,as i saw him stutter,"Ah I-I gotta use the bathroom."he finished also blushing,careful not to let his eyes go anywhere but straight at the door. I nodded and walked past him,and into my room,a small smirk plastered across my face.
These arrangements suck.But i could live with it.
