Simon looked at the paper nope that wasn't right, he was sure that two plus six was 8 so why did he just put 9, he wrote underneath.
Simon hoped that he was right because if not well they didn't want to know what would happen if he was wrong.
Cadence shook her head and patted his arm comfortingly.

"I know you can do it, Simon!" Looking down at the paper, she watched as she tried to do the math. When he made a mistake, she opened her mouth to correct him, but he had already caught himself.
"See! You're starting to see your mistakes on your own! That means you're getting better!" she said happily.
"Good, so now, here's what we have." "To do the next step, all you have to do is add the 3 numbers together," she explained pointing to each number in turn.
