Cadence looked up at the sound of Torin's voice and was about to respond with some smart aleck remark when she heard the Professor nearby. Looking up, Cadence mirrored her confused expression. But... the egg shells WERE white. She was going to ask what egg whites were, then, but before she could, the Professor answered the question. Cadi's face blushed a very deep red. "Oh. Right. Sorry, Professor," she said quietly. Pointing her wand at the bowl, she said, "Accio Egg Shells," over and over until she was sure all the pieces of the egg shell were out of the bowl. "I... suppose I should go get another egg, then," she said in her quiet voice. Her spirit was now being smothered by her embarrassment as she ran back to the room with all the ingredients and grabbed another egg. When she returned, she handed it to Torin. "Maybe you should do the eggs, Nirot," she said with the tiniest of smiles. "I'll put in the special ingredient."

And with that, she grabbed her rainbow sprinkles and began adding them to the slowly stirring batter.
