Santi smiled as the professor explained what to do, it was something he had done a million times during the summer. Legally, he wasn't allowed to use magic during the summer, but coming from a wizarding household, there was no way the Ministry (neither Canadian nor Britain) could tell who was performing the charm. Since his parents were at work or in the other room and it was his job to make dinner, he would use some charms to speed up the work.
Santi swished and flicked, "Wingardium Leviosa." The bowl flew into the air and when it reached the level he wanted, "Fixate." Then putting the spoon in and revolving his wand slightly faster than normal, he said, "Locomotor spoon."
He smiled as he stepped back to admire his work. He was grateful that charms was his strongest subject for he found them more useful than any other. Gazing around the room, he looked to see how others were doing, keeping an eye out for a familiar face.
