He heard the magic words and turned around to see one of the rare, partnerless people. He walked up to the girl, a tad annoyed. "I don't have a partner."

While he was glad he found someone to work with, he was a little upset as well. Now he actually had to work with numbers. Urgh, Arithmancy sucked.
