She seemed a little in disagreement, but somewhat satisfied. Right?
"So, you're loyal, reliable.." He looked to her. "Believe me, I'd be happy with that answer. Those are some good traits to have." How true, indeed! Then again, the girl was sorted into Hufflepuff, so loyalty should probably have been a given. "And look.. your destiny one says that you're creative, encouraging, and self-expressive.." His eyes scanned over the text. "Oh, and it says you're good with words, just like you were saying." Okay, that's enough excitement. How come Arithmancy at Hogwarts was so much better than the same subject at Durmstrang?
The boy glanced down at his own numbers.
"Destined for leadership," Aiden repeated, reading the words. It sounded like it fit him; after all, he did like to be in control of things. But he laughed when she mentioned him being Minister of Magic. "Oh, no. Hah. Hopefully, it'll mean leadership in the Auror area.. or maybe just in general." He shrugged. Minister, though, just wouldn't be his cup of tea.
Cadence smiled a warm smile at the boy as he complimented her supposed attributes, according to their calculations. Though, it sounded to her like he was just describing a Hufflepuff, which was kind of cool actually. She wondered if other Hufflepuffs got similar results in their numbers. Funny how the Sorting Hat knew such things.
"Yeah! All of that sounds brilliant! Being able to be creative and stuff. OH! And being encouraging, that's the best part. I like to make others feel better," she said, nodding her head in agreement.
When Aiden laughed at her joke about being Minister of Magic, she continued to laugh right along with him.
"Oh? So you want to be an Auror?" she asked. Looking down, she reread what the book said about him according to the numbers.
"Well, all of these sound like great traits for an Auror!" she said smiling back at him.
"I've no idea what I want to be, but I like this," she said, pointing to the part of her description that suggested she go into education.
"I think I would like being a teacher. Or maybe a pediatric Healer! Do you think that fits this description? I like kids. And talking to people. Like it said, self-expressive," she said with a small smile.
