Vashti listened quietly as the professor spoke, taking notes when necessary and paying special attention when she demonstrated how to do this class assignment thing. Okay. Cool. Didn't look...too hard. She was sort of good in math. Definitely not her best subject though. Not that that would matter if she didn't have a partner to do the assignment with.
"Hey, anyone need a partner?" she asked, directing it at no one in particular, just anyone who would answer.
