Preston placed his teacup down on his desk, and folding his hands together, leaned forward, eager to hear what question the young eagle had brought him.

At that moment, however, Preston heard a knock at the door. "Excuse me," he said quickly, before standing and making his way over and opening it.

Having stayed a few moments in the hallway, Preston returned, leaving the door open for those following him in.

"My apologies, Miss Jaimeson. Now, what can I do for you?"
