Selena asked. "Thank you." he said, smiling as he tried to keep his face...not so red. "In school, umm, my art teacher had a friend that wanted a portrait done of his family, so he had suggested me. That was my first job that I had." And he was so nervous, he felt as if he was going to be sick. "I'm still trying to build up a name actually, but so far, everything seems to be going smoothly. A few bumpy roads here and there, but what career doesn't have those." Oh, thank Merlin. He actually was having a not stuttering or nerve wracking conversation. "You just need, to put yourself out there. You know...never give up! If you have money, you can start with advertising your work in the paper, perhaps start by doing smaller things such as..."
Hmm, what can one do? "Such as...art for theatre! Broadway sets and such. A lot of people go and see Broadway plays. Being a portrait painter, or any kind of painter, is just like any other job really. Competition. There is always a ton of competition so, really...never give up. That's where that patience and passion come into play again. If you love your career and what you do, even though times may seem tough, you need patience and never give up." Quote:
