Okay, now she really felt a little bad about it. But still, who wouldn't laugh at somebody who had just tripped on their shoe lace?! A Prefect, probably. Crap! "Look, I'm sor-"Nancy had already opened her mouth to apologize to the girl when the Slytherin dared to refuse her outstretched hand and got up herself. WHAT?! Naturally, the Prefect did NOT finish her previously started sentence. Pfft.

Raising her eyebrows at the girl, Nancy simply regarded her for a moment, a frown plastered across her face. "Yeaaah. I remember now. Sorry for interrupting your attempts at flirting." She teased, a small smirk on her lips. Even though the coldness in the other girl's voice bothered her, she couldn't quite stay angry at anybody ~~but Steven~~. "Yes, nice to meet you too, Ella." Err, yes. "You new to Hogwarts?" Because she hadn't seen her around at all...
