As the clearly older girl approached her, Ella raised an eyebrow. Had she seen this girl before?
"Oh - Umm yeah i'm fine, I just..." Hmm, how to say this without sounding like an idiot. "Tripped on my shoe lace..." Well that didn't work, she looked like a total clutz now. She glanced at her shoes then quickly tied them up to take away any risk of tripping for the rest of the day. Once she had done so, she looked up again.
"Do I know you from somewhere?" She asked, studying the girls face. 'Cause she hadn't actually met anyone older than her yet. OH! It was that stupid prefect that butted into hers and Patrick's conversation. The way the other girl was eyeing her only increased her suspicions that she had seen her around somewhere already. Only where? Now, that aside...the girl had tripped on her shoe laces?! Nancy could feel a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips, however, tried hard to conceal it...not very successfully. "Oh...err." Now, how to reply without saying anything sarcastic. "Well, I'm glad you're okay. You got me worried there for a moment...sitting on the floor." She directed a small genuine grin towards her before extending her hand to help her up.
Still waiting for her to take her hand...or get up otherwise, Nancy mimicked her actions by studying her face likewise. Where did she know her fro-"The meeting...the meeting in Duelling Arena." A frown flashed across her face at that thought. "I'm Nancy. Slytherin Prefect." Though she probably already knew that...it probably had become quite obvious at the meeting. Cough. |
