Seth isn't a vampire, he's a werewolf. He's hiding that fact because he has specific orders from the Alpha wolf to not tell anyone and you literally can't disobey the Alpha. He has to be careful around humans, whether muggles or not, because if he got too angry or something, he could transform and if he were too close when he transformed, he could hurt her. But we will meet the Vampires later on. And everything will be explained in the posts when you get there. But if ever there is something you don't understand about it, you are more than welcome to ask
