Cameron was almost about to drop her outstretched hand and run for the hills when the older girl took it. Her tummy squirmed with adrenalin as she fought the urge to get away from this chikka. "Aw." All Cam's sense of pride was popped. She'd felt so good when she'd gotten that apology but.. it hadn't been real! She rolled her eyes but didn't make a comment when the Snake told her she'd overreacted. Whatever.
"I would've taken that as an insult.. but I suppose you mean it like a compliment so.. thank you. I guess." Cameron surmised with a shrug.
