Preston pursed his lips at the boy's tone as he moved to take a chair. Picking up his own tea, he watched the boy, thinking that a simple no thank you would have sufficed. He took a long sip.

As the boy began to speak, Preston nodded and set down his tea, thinking that perhaps Miss Toussaint had be right that students were interested in theory.

Until the boy continued speaking. He was talking about practical application, and in a way that Preston couldn't quite place or at least wasn't entirely comfortable with. Get rid of people? His face remaining impassive, Preston leaned forward.

"And your name is?"
