Jake had wandered up to the Headmaster's area in the Hogwarty place without really thinking. He soon found himself in the seating area along with the boy he'd spoken to at the feast with Demitri and Donovan.

That was a kind of tetchy subject, and not one he wanted to get into conversation about so close to the Headmaster's quarters.

Standing stiffly, Jake kept his hands in his pockets and his back straight as he stared straight at the gargoyle, waiting for Tate. He... kind of realised he did need to talk about last term.
