He cocked his head to the side as he considered this. "You know what?" he asked, nodding his head slowly, "That's right. Huh. I always knew girls were weird." he commented, as if that settled things. "Maybe girls just like it when we embarrass ourselves, so they pretend to like things that embarrass us." That would definitely be something that Jenn would do. "Kazoo?" he repeated, laughing. "I thought about taking up the kazoo. I considered the harmonica, too." He nodded. But, obviously, those two things didn't work out, because he ended up with the guitar.
Kel smirked as he pictured himself as a cheerleader. It was...quite a picture. But then he pictured Jenn as a cheerleader, and he laughed. Wonder if she'd even think about it... he thought, then tuned back into his conversation. "The colder months would be a problem." he decided. "It'd be hard to cheer with snow on the ground." Kellen raised an eyebrow at the boy's enthusiasm, "Really? Well alright then, if you think so." He sure hadn't expected that as an answer...
He raised a finger and shook it sagely at Keltan's analysis of female behaviour, "I think you're on to something there. One of my friends seems to get a real kick out of whenever I stammer over something." A shake of the head accompanied this statement, but then Kellen grinned, "The kazoo is a beautiful instrument. Capable of turning an off-key hum into an even more annoying off-key hum. And it's great at parties."
Was something still considered a joke if you started talking about possible setbacks that would occur if you did it? "It would, especially since we're the ones who'd have to be doing the lifting. Then again, I'm sure we'd have an area cleared off for us, and probably gripping charms on our shoes. And sweaters. The point is to cheer on the team, not catch pnemoni--" Quote:

Feeling a drop of water run down his face from his still damp hair, Ty shook his head violently and effectively sprayed whoever was near him with water.
Hehe. He was too wound up to feel sorry though, she he just smiled up at Kel after spotting his wet shirt. Oh well. Kel would forgive him, Ty was sure. Quote:

He asked, then quickly jumped back as Ty shook his head - the Kel now realized was wet - smacking his head against the wall in the process. He grimaced as he rubbed the back of his head with his palm, but he didn't say anything. As he looked down at his shirt that had caught the most water off of Ty's head, Kel couldn't help but laugh. Kellen's eyes blinked closed as a few drops of water hit his face, his mouth closing up to prevent any going in there. He'd once taken in a mouthful of shampoo-water and his tongue hadn't forgiven him for weeks. Once he was sure no more water was coming, Kellen opened his eyes and nodded at the newcomer with a small smile, "Hey Ty. Nice PJ's." |
