"I..." he pretended to think, though he was really trying to figure out how to word what he was going to say. "I like music. Play instruments and all that." he shrugged nonchalantly. "What about you?" Now wouldn't that be weird if they had the same hobby?

Kel's eyes widened and he nodded. "I know, right?" he shook his head, lookin at his own stomach as if he could see how it'd gotten bigger after how muh he'd eaten. "Running from bears?" he repeated, then shook his head. Outdoorsy stuff. Honestly, it sounded exciting to Kel. Even if running from bears was most likely life-threatening. "You don't do that kind of stuff often?" he asked, catching the part about how Kellen had never gone on a trip like that before.
"Music? That's cool, what do you play?" Kellen's musical appreciation was strictly of the listening variety. He'd once owned a trumpet, but that got exactly four notes out of it before his father bent it and kicked him outside to explore. "I like playing polo... you know, contact golf on horseback? It gets a little rough at times, but we have a lot of fun. I don't compete or anything." Or at least, had competed for exactly how long it took him to realize that playing for fame and money tended to take away the fun part of it.

"Conjured bears," Kellen specified. "Most of the time we'd have to find a beaver dam to scramble across. It was all a part of my father's 'Man Up' campaign. Can't say I appreciated it at the time... or even now... but I'm sure in a few years I'll look back on it with only slightly unpleasant thoughts in my head." The grin on his face made it clear that he was joking, and he shook his head at Keltan's question, "Haaaaa-no, no I don't. Do you?"
