He surely wasn't creative enough to think up a nickname for himself.
Canada? Kel had never been to Canada. "Sounds...interesting?" he raised an eyebrow questioningly. It really did sound interesting, Kel had never done anything as fun as backpacking in his life. When Kellen finished talking, Kel laughed. "Hogwarts food is pretty great..." he agreed, trailing off and smiling. Now there were lots of new people coming in. Kellen shrugged at Keltan, "We should both get a nickname. Ones that have nothing to do with Kel-whatever. It's only fair, right? Maybe we can have hobby-names. What do you like besides grinding grades?" It seemed a fair assumption to make that Keltan did his homework: Ravenclaw, and all that. "Isn't it though? Man, I won't have to eat for a week after tonight," Kellen puffed out his stomach and patted it with a grin. He shook his head at memories of Canada, the grin turning to a smirk instead, "Interesting is one word for it. I'd never gone on a trip like that before, and my father... is a bit of an extremist. Climbing mountains, running from bears... at one point he made us eat Gillyweed and shoved us into some rapids. You know... outdoorsy stuff." |
