It would be strange to use the first syllable of his own name to address someone else. Still, he wasn't going to force a nickname on the boy. That was more something his cousin would do.

Ah, so someone else had experienced an usual summer. Kellen smiled, "I went backpacking through the wilds of Canada with a few friends. All a brilliant scheme of my father. It wasn't too bad, but I sure missed the Hogwarts food."
