"I need a life?" Nolan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I have one, actually, thanks. I have a great job, a loving fiance, and the loft I have in the city is rather comfy. So yeah, I'd say I have a pretty good life," he said with a grin. He'd been told that a few times while at school, due to the fact that his nose was always stuck to a book, so he got pretty good at responding to that remark. Hehe.
"Although, all jokes aside, you really need to cut down the attitude," he warned the boy sternly. He glanced from Violet to this newcomer, Justin, and could tell right away that these two were probably scheming together. That would NOT do.

"It's not against the rules to simply touch someone," he pointed out.
"And you shouldn't talk to him like that! You've already got a detention waiting for you after the feast, and I'd prefer it if you didn't force us to give you MORE punishment in addition to that."
