Laura smiled back at Valeria. She was a nice woman. Yep.

Noticing the arrival of the Floo division head, Laura turned to Valeria once again.
"Well, I hope your arrival to the department has been welcome enough," she said before excusing herself. Then, she looked over at Theron and waved.
"Good day yourself, Theron," she replied cheerily to him. He looked a little bit down, even though his voice was chipper.
"Anything the matter?" Laura asked. She hoped he was feeling okay.
