Chapter 1:I'm Mute Not Deaf

They act as if I can't hear their whispers as I pass in the hallway. But what they might not understand is, I'm not Deaf. I'm Mute. I can hear every whisper like every droplet of rain hitting the window. Drip.Drip.Drip. And I can hear their whispers. Whisper.Whisper.Whisper.
So I'm guessing you want to learn a little bit about myself? Yeah thought so. My name is Jessica Kinns. I go to Hogwarts school of Witch Craft and Wizardry. I am a 6th year, in the house of Gryffindor.
So this is my story, a girl with so many opinions, but just can't get them out, all due to a disability I have. It all started at the beginning of this year, first day actually. I can remember it like yesterday...
I had gotten off the train, thankfully not running into anyone. I walked into a solitary carriage. When who had joined me but none other then the famous Draco Malfoy. Quidditch Star. He didn't realize I was in there until Pansy Parkinson decided to be obnoxious. "Hey Draco,why don't you come in a carriage with people who you can actually speak with." Then he turned and noticed me. He got up,and nodded at Parkinson. He turned too me,"Can't speak?" he asked me, I nodded my head yes. I couldn't speak. I gave him a look, gotta problem with that? I mouthed the words,"Does it matter?" I asked clearly. He sneered,"Sort of." and walked out of the carriage. So this is what I deal with. My entire life. Jerks who are insensitive. But I'm strong and don't let anyone see me cry. When he exited, a solitary tear rolled down my cheek. I was hoping for something better this year,no trouble. But boy was I kidding myself.
