Ainra looked at the other boy, glaring at him. Time for her mean side to come out she supposed. "Well you don't have to be rude." She said. "I mean really you couldn't possibly said something like 'are you okay' or at least asked to leave nicely." She paused. "Honestly I don't even know you and I can tell your pathetic." Okay... maybe she had gone too far. Jack and everyone else who had seen her outburst was probably going to think she was a mean freak now, when she really wasn't, she just didn't take any rudeness from anybody, but it was too late to take back now, what was done was done and she was certainly not going to apologize if this boy didn't.

"It was an accident," he said, his deep voice vibrating his throat, "And there aren't really any open compartments. I think I have a right to sit here. There are no more doors for me to run into, thanks very much." He was annoyed by this antagonism. He wasn't here to make enemies on his first day of being here. He looked over at the girl who was sitting with him and raised his eyebrows. Then he looked back at the first year girl who had been talking to him, amused by her straightforwardness and said, "Told ya, it'd probably be best back with your not-friends. Apparently I'm not really welcome here."

But their compartment was far TOO quiet. Clearly, Legend hadn't really forgiven her for what happened in Diagon Alley a few weeks prior. Kaitlynnh frowned, absently pulling the rabbit up further on her lap as she felt Nova begin to slip.

BAM!

Puzzled dark brown orbs met a pair of emerald green ones staring back at her, equally clueless. She shrugged, lips gapped as she started to say something and then stopped, watching a boy who looked about their age walk in and take a seat, followed by a smaller girl.

Raising her eyebrows, Katie gave a slight wave of her hand. "Uhm, Hi.." before turning her attention to the blonde boy as she heard his pencil against the pad of paper he often carried now-a-days. Okay sure, it was strange for kids to randomly walk into their compartment, especially without acknowledging them, but still.. Legend was a bit testy, she thought.

Scooting forward with one arm securing Nova to her, Kaitlynnh snatched up the paper. "Legend Chosen! Must you always be so rude?" She snapped, dark eyes narrowing on the boy. Crumpling the paper, the young girl tossed it back at him.

Annd now he had the small girl going. GREAT job, Legend. "Are you okay?" Katie asked, looking to Jack as she waited for the girl to get everything out of her system. She knew first hand how infuriating Legend could be; the poor girl didn't know the half of it. Pathetic? "Alright, that's enough! Legend shouldn't be RUDE" She gave him another one of her KATIE looks. "but he's a boy, and they're awfully good at saying stupid things at this age. You'll have to excuse him."

"You're both welcome to stay if you want," the Hufflepuff added, shrugging her shoulders. Katie straightened up and pushed back into her seat, getting comfortable again. "But I don't want to listen to arguing; It's loud enough on this train."

Was he being rude? Of course! But why should he care. Legend eyed the younger girl and just shook his head an shrugged. She wasn't even important enough to respond to. PLUS she called him pathetic! Why would he be the one asking how the boy was if HE was stupid enough to collide into a door. Obviously he had very little brain cells before the incident.

AND NOW Katie was going! And she wasn't before! She was actually quite! These people had ruined his few minutes of relaxation. Legend was not happy. He was not happy at all. Grabbing the ball of paper that Katie had threw at him Legend flattened it out and wrote something on the back:

Yes I must. When people are rude to you.
You have to be rude right back.
You always fight fire with fire.

Turning back to the boy Legend opened his mouth but then stopped. He wasn't going to talk! Not again. Scribbling something else on the paper he shoved it into the boys face.

Didn't say you weren't welcomed.
Just think that it would be polite to knock.
And not ruin people's peace.

There. He wasn't even trying to be mean and yet everyone randomly turned agaisnt him! Even Katie! Some friend she was! Legend looked back at his seat and noticed the small fox was gone. GREAT the the noise had scared Pluto.
